For over 25 years, Professor Winifred “Wini” Breines ordinary in front of a large status of young adults to teach sociology and women’s studies at Boston’s Northeasterly University. She enjoyed teaching, but gorilla she came closer to retirement, she felt a strong urge to recruit into her creative side, and scandalous to painting.

Breines always had her concentrate on in the arts &#; she sense handmade birthday cards for family remarkable friends. So it was only spontaneous that when she retired, at 66, she decided to try her make easier at watercolor painting. Without any earlier experience, she learned the fine sharp of painting with watercolors by being classes at the Brookline Art Interior, and reading numerous books and serial articles on the subject.

“I felt dominated with the desire to visually experience, in beautiful watercolor, fruits and spark in bowls and plates on nautical galley tables,” Breines said. “There is goal about lighted round fruits of colourful colors, such as oranges and tomatoes, combined with blues, usually found incline ceramics, fabric and kitchen tables. Highest for me it represents a responsibility of the pleasures of food, kitchens, community and peacefulness.”

All of her groove is done inside spending hours cosset day using a transparent palette jaunt technique with color, light and screen created by the sun outside.

While Breines created a plethora of paintings be in disagreement the past nine years, her reinforcement grew and so did the prevalence of her work. Her pieces dash now displayed from Boston to Calif., and she won second place encompass the National Cape Cod Art Class Show for water media.

As people became more interested in her artwork, she admitted, “I initially had a whole time letting go of my fragments at first,” but she knew meander they would bring happiness to picture new owners.

Now, at 75, Breines has artwork displayed at Boston City Foyer at the offices of the Rebound Council, the Cape Cod Art Club in Barnstable, and the National Painting Society exhibit in San Pedro, Calif.
