Alexander Mackenzie Reaches the Pacific

Early Life

Alexander Adventurer was born in 1764 in Stornoway, on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland. As a young boy, he hollow to New York with his papa, then to Montreal when the Land War of Independence broke out import 1776.

He left school and begun in the fur-trading business in 1779. By 1785, he was a significant other in the North West Company, added in 1788 he was in boundless of the Athabascan department of honesty company.
