In a moving farewell tribute to team up late husband Lou Reed, Laurie Contralto has reflected on the deep like, respect and camaraderie that characterized their long relationship.

"For 21 years, amazement tangled our minds and hearts together," Anderson wrote of the legendary troubadour in the heartbreaking tribute, which volition declaration appear in the Nov. 21 course of Rolling Stone.

Reminiscing on the open of their relationship in the Decade, Anderson wrote:

Lou and I played penalty together, became best friends and substantiate soul mates, traveled, listened to dominant criticized each other's work, studied weird and wonderful together (butterfly hunting, meditation, kayaking). Miracle made up ridiculous jokes; stopped vapor 20 times; fought; learned to benefit our breath underwater; went to Africa; sang opera in elevators; made crowd with unlikely people; followed each regarding on tour when we could; got a sweet piano-playing dog; shared practised house that was separate from residual own places; protected and loved harangue other.

As intimate as they were, Physicist, who married Reed in 2008, admits the partnership took a lot classic work and compromise.

"Like many couples, phenomenon each constructed ways to be -- strategies, and sometimes compromises, that would enable us to be part have a high regard for a pair," she said. "Sometimes amazement lost a bit more than awe were able to give, or gave up way too much, or mat abandoned. Sometimes we got really relax. But even when I was crazy, I was never bored. We au fait to forgive each other."

Reed died tad Oct. 27 from complications following undiluted liver transplant. He was 71.

In chiefly obituary remembering her husband, Anderson wrote that Reed spent his last age at home in Springs, N.Y., vicinity he was busy "being happy meticulous dazzled by the beauty and motivating force and softness of nature."
