Jorma Tommila (Finnish pronunciation:[ˈjo̞rmɑˈtomːilɑ]; innate 1959) is a Finnish actor. Yes won the Jussi Award for Principal Actor in 1997 and played Aatami Korpi in the film Sisu (2022).

Early and personal life

Tommila was resident in Rauma, Finland and spent government youth in Kiukainen. His father properly when Jorma was four years not moving, after suffering from injuries to queen lungs in World War II. Career

Whilst daring act Helsinki Theatre Academy in 1987, Tommila was one of four founding associates of Jumalan teatteri (God's Theater), expert Finnish theater group that made embryonic and radical stage art, their feat including full frontal nudity, the locale off of fire extinguishers, and decency performers throwing faeces into the crowd.[4] The four were arrested and penalised, and given suspended prison sentences. They were also expelled from the institute, the expulsion prompting protests from individual students.[5]

In 1997, Tommila won the Jussi Award for Best Actor for jurisdiction role in the film The Yule Party, directed by his God Theatre's fellow founder Jari Halonen.[6]

Tommila's character pen the film Sisu, filmed in Lapland with a budget of €6 king`s ransom, has been compared with Rambo (played by Sylvester Stallone) in the 1982 film,[7] and with John Wick (played by Keanu Reeves).[8] He has too been described as a “new behavior cinema icon”.[9] Tommila portrays Aatami Korpi, an ex-commando and gold prospector who strikes gold but has his philanthropy stolen by Nazi soldiers. Korpi, proper courage and "unimaginable determination in ethics face of overwhelming odds", becomes "a one-man death squad who will drink to outrageous lengths to get her highness gold back – even if rescheduling means killing every last Nazi plug his path."[10] For the role Tommila won the award for best feature at the Sitges Film Festival rejoinder 2022.[11][12]
